Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing all production engineering activities related to semiconductor/solar process equipment, medical, and aerospace industries. Your role will involve managing the production and operational requirements for machining and supplying highly accurate, high precision components. As a leader, you will manage the production and operations team, overseeing procurement, quality, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning. Additionally, you will work towards improving cost competitiveness and act as a liaison between various cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a clear understanding of the production process - Implement process improvement techniques - Implement quality control procedures - Manage inventory levels effectively - Build strong relationships with suppliers - Utilize technology and data analytics - Foster a culture of continuous improvement - Stay informed of industry trends and best practices - Support production and machining processes, develop new processes, troubleshoot issues - Manage customer-specific requirements and offer technical support - Handle multiple projects Qualifications Required: - Experience in production engineering and manufacturing of high precision parts - Experience in developing new production and manufacturing processes - Experience in quality assurance systems - Skills in assembling special purpose machines (added advantage) - Technical and engineering acumen - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Good understanding of SEMI/aerospace precision requirements and special materials - Knowledge of cutting tools, heat treatment processes, surface treatment, coating processes, surface finish fits and tolerances - Sound knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and programming - Familiarity with fabrication, welding, metal joining processes - Awareness about jigs and fixtures for manufacturing - Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings - Experience with cross-functional management Company Details: No additional details about the company are provided in the job description.,
