Job Description

Head of Laboratory Operations & Projects | Diagnostic Healthcare
Leading large-scale laboratory operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and scalability.As Head of Lab Operations & Projects, to oversee the complete laboratory value chain from sample flow and testing to process standardization, infrastructure expansion, and quality governance.Key Responsibilities:Direct end-to-end laboratory operations across all clusters, ensuring adherence to NABL standards and internal quality controls.Plan, execute, and commission new lab projects — including space design, workflow engineering, equipment validation, and process readiness.Monitor TAT, reagent utilization, and manpower efficiency using MIS and process dashboards.Coordinate between HODs, biomedical, purchase, and quality teams to maintain uninterrupted operations.Drive cost optimization and resource planning through consumption-based procurement and predictive analytics.Lead audit readiness, inter-lab correlation, and external quality assurance programs (EQAS).Implement digital systems for sample tracking, inventory control, and performance analytics.Core Focus Areas:Clinical Laboratory Operations | NABL & QA/QC | Project Execution | Workflow Optimization | Inventory & Cost Management | Process Automation | Multisite Lab Governance
