Head of Investment Banking firm

As the Head of Client Coverage Vertical and Deal Origination, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Promoters, Directors, and other C-level executives of corporate clients. Your role will involve business development, mandate execution, and managing relationships with investors for Private Equity and Credit Funds. You will work closely with onshore and offshore General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs) to identify and maintain investor relationships, as well as present suitable proposals and deals to ensure successful deal closures. In addition to client coverage, you will lead client coordination efforts, including gathering information, providing updates, conducting negotiations, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your role will require you to demonstrate strong client relationship management skills and gather valuable insights and knowledge from clients. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Client Coverage Team to ensure seamless client service delivery. You will also play a strategic role in working on global and regional projects, supporting management on strategic initiatives, and preparing presentations on financial performance analysis and key themes affecting earnings in the division. This position offers exposure to the global market and investment banking industry, covering fixed income, equities, and investment banking. To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop financial models and conduct data analysis. Problem-solving and creative thinking skills are essential, along with a deep interest in global markets, investment banking trends, and market dynamics such as market structure, fintech, and regulations.
