Head of Internal Audit

Role Overview: As the Head of Internal Audit in the leading NBFC sector, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to the internal audit team. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the annual audit plan, ensuring adequate resources and training for the audit team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the internal audit team effectively. - Develop and implement the annual audit plan. - Ensure the audit team is well-resourced and trained. - Define audit policies and procedures. - Oversee the execution of internal audits, including financial, operational, and compliance audits. - Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with professional standards. - Assess the adequacy of internal controls and risk management processes. - Provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls and mitigating risks. - Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations. - Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the audit committee. - Maintain open communication with the leadership team and audit committee. - Offer an objective and evidence-based opinion on governance, risk management, and internal control.
