Job Description

As a Manager (M3) in the relevant function, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination to ensure the performance of the function meets all necessary requirements, including contractual obligations such as scope and on-time delivery. You will be responsible for managing experienced professionals who work with a degree of autonomy in their assignments. Your role will involve implementing policies and strategies to drive short-term results, facing difficult to moderately complex challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include strictly adhering to and implementing the Business HSE/Quality Policy and all Company rules, ensuring the development of necessary HSE/Quality procedures, and enforcing safe and environmentally sound working practices. It will be crucial to ensure that your subordinates are well-trained and supported in their duties, prioritizing the health and safety of all employees under your operational responsibility. You will oversee the execution of Construction & Commissioning tasks in alignment with the operating guidelines for the HVDC Product and PGGI BU. Developing and maintaining processes and tools within your area of responsibility will be essential, along with ensuring a coordinated approach across all Construction and Commissioning Departments/Sub Functions. Your role will involve providing leadership and motivation through effective communication of principles, objectives, targets, and processes, including feedback communication. Managing the Regional Cost Centre results to achieve budgets, overseeing Site Execution within your area of responsibility, and ensuring optimal regional utilization of department employees are key aspects of your role. Decision-making, managing improvement tasks, and technical rules within the set goals and assigned tasks framework will be critical. Collaborating with the HVDC C&C management team and participating in capacity and improvement planning are also part of your responsibilities. You will work on defining and implementing processes and procedures for the Construction and Commissioning function, coordinating with Global HVDC C&C Department Managers, and supporting all departments within the HVDC C&C organization for control and personnel resourcing for Projects in the Americas. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering with relevant experience in the EPC and HVDC Business.
