Role Overview

The Head of Global Product Management will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of products, services, and parts to ensure the company’s global competitiveness and profitability. This role requires driving product innovation, aligning regional needs with global strategies, ensuring optimal pricing, and delivering exceptional customer and distributor experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Define and implement global product and service strategies and roadmaps to ensure market competitiveness.
  2. Drive profitability by aligning product pricing with customer value and market positioning.
  3. Gather and integrate customer, competitor, and technology insights to guide product innovation.
  4. Collaborate with regional leaders to address unique market requirements and ensure acceptance of product roadmaps.
  5. Build and maintain strong networks with distributors and industry stakeholders to enhance market share and brand preference.
  6. Develop lifecycle cost and profit models to deliver best value to customers and distributors.
  7. Ensure consistent measurement of customer and distributor satisfaction through global surveys and actionable insights.
  8. Lead and mentor product managers, ensuring robust succession planning and talent pipeline development.
  9. Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, service, and technology teams to deliver integrated product solutions.
  10. Ensure risk identification and mitigation while achieving business goals.


Required Experience & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  2. 15–20 years of experience in industrial products and services with a global remit.
  3. Solid understanding of Product Management processes, tools, and systems.
  4. Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams across the globe.
  5. Strategic thinking and strong business/financial acumen.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering superior value.
