Head of Financial Planning Analysis

As the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a crucial role in providing insightful recommendations to drive informed business decisions. Your main responsibilities will include preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. You will create financial models to support forecasting activities and scenario analysis, enabling the management to make well-informed decisions. Analyzing historical financial data and trends will be a key part of your role to generate accurate forecasts and identify potential risks and opportunities. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics will help evaluate the company's financial performance against targets. Your strong understanding of manufacturing processes will be essential in conducting thorough variance analysis to explain budget/forecast deviations and provide valuable insights to the management. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing ad-hoc financial analyses and reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting business leaders with financial decision-making, and participating in meetings and presentations to discuss financial performance and strategic initiatives. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, implementing best practices in financial planning and analysis, and enhancing accuracy and efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are crucial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, are necessary. You should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software.
