Head of Finance

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

Manage SaaS KPIs: ARR, MRR, revenue recognition, CAC, LTV, churn.

Provide strategic insights to the CEO and leadership team.

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

• Oversee accounting, audits, tax, GST/TDS, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure accurate monthly/annual financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.

Business Finance

Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations.

Drive pricing strategy for SaaS and wallet/payment models.

Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and cost optimization.

SAAS /FinTech / Wallet Experience

Experience in digital wallets, stored value systems, prepaid instruments, or payment platforms.

Good knowledge of RBI rules, KYC, escrow, settlements, and reconciliations.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Build financial models and fundraising materials.
• Support due diligence and investor reporting.
• Work with VCs, PEs, bankers, and international investors.
• Support

  IPO preparation

  for a new-age digital company.

• Leadership & Systems

• Lead finance, accounts, and compliance teams.
• Drive automation and ERP/SAP improvements.
• Consolidate global financials across multiple countries.
• Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, GST/TDS, and month-end closures.

Mandatory Requirements

Qualifications

14–20 years of finance experience.

and SaaS/FinTech/tech-based recurring revenue models.

Hands-on, able to operate independently in startup environments.

Stable career, strong references, clean background check.

Strong in FP&A, business finance, investor relations, and due diligence.

Fund raising Experience with VC-funded high-growth companies (must).

Exposure to global consolidation

Experience working with SAP or similar ERP.
