Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Department (HOD) – English to lead our faculty and English curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring academic expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a vision to strengthen English language learning across all grades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the English department in alignment with the school’s vision and academic goals.
• Design, implement, and regularly review the English curriculum to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
• Mentor, support, and evaluate the English faculty to enhance instructional practices.
• Foster creativity, research, and innovation in English teaching.
• Organize workshops, literary events, debates, and other activities to enrich student learning.
• Monitor student performance, analyze outcomes, and implement strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with academic leadership for curriculum development and future planning.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of teaching experience in English.
• At least 3 years of experience as HOD/Academic Coordinator in English.
• Strong subject expertise and deep understanding of curriculum and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• A postgraduate degree in English or a related field (B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred).
