You will be responsible for crafting and executing the category strategy, managing the P&L, driving growth, and ensuring long-term scalability. As a key member of the management team, you will have a pivotal role in shaping product launches, pricing strategies, market competitiveness, and enhancing the overall consumer experience in beauty and personal care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define the long-term vision, architecture, and growth roadmap for the beauty category. - Manage category teams effectively and maintain strong brand relationships. - Identify opportunities in whitespace, consumer needs, and industry trends to drive product innovation. - Take ownership of the P&L, including pricing, costs, margins, and overall profitability. - Develop and implement GTM playbooks for efficient and rapid scaling. - Build a profound understanding of consumer behaviors, preferences, and market trends in the beauty segment. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless consumer experiences. - Establish scalable processes for forecasting, inventory management, and merchandising. - Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-performance team while fostering a culture of creativity and consumer-centricity. **Ideal Profile:** - 6-12 years of experience in Beauty & Personal Care industry with expertise in category management, brand building, or P&L ownership. - Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling beauty or personal care brands/products. - Strong grasp of consumer insights, beauty trends, and competitive dynamics. - Thrives in dynamic environments and can navigate from ambiguity to clarity effectively. - Proficient in commercial aspects such as pricing strategies, forecasting, and business planning. - Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with experience in influencing creative, product, and operational teams. - Background in D2C brands or digital-first consumer businesses is advantageous. - Possesses emotional intelligence, aesthetic sensibility, and a genuine passion for the beauty sector. - Prior founder experience is a significant plus.
