With its registered office in Udumalpet, Tamil Nadu, the company has a local production base and sources its grandparent stock from the US. Hy-Line Layers has initiated a breeding program tailored to make its products suitable for the Indian market.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Tamil Nadu, India, for the Head of Accounts and Finance. The Head of Accounts and Finance will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including maintaining accounting records, preparing periodic financial reports, managing tax planning and compliance, and developing robust financial strategies. The role also involves budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis skills
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Tax Compliance
• Ability to develop and implement Financial Strategies
• Experience in Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
• Strong Leadership and Team Management skills
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and ERP Systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Experience in the poultry industry or similar agricultural sectors is an advantage
