Head of Accounting

As the Head of Accounting, you will oversee all accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial reporting accuracy to support strategic business goals. Much like a seasoned manager, you will lead and supervise the entire accounting function, ensuring that financial records are accurate, regulatory requirements are met, and reports are timely. Your role will also involve guiding the team to align financial processes with the company's broader strategic goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end accounting and controllership for multiple external clients - Lead outsourcing projects, including bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance - Ensure timely finalization of accounts and coordination with auditors - Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory filings for client entities - Drive month-end/year-end closures and prepare MIS/financial reports - Maintain strong internal controls and process improvements - Liaise with client stakeholders for operational and strategic finance matters **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience in accounting outsourcing or client servicing roles - Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, taxation, and compliance - Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and MS Excel - Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder-handling skills In addition, you should have a thorough understanding of Indian GAAP, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.
