Head of Accounting

As the Head Accountant at Nirmaan Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and strengthening the accounting function of a diversified enterprise involved in beverages, manufacturing, and international trade. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and supervising the accounts team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. - Independently preparing and filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns. - Maintaining and reviewing books of accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Implementing systems to minimize errors and enhance internal financial controls. - Preparing and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensuring audit readiness and direct liaison with statutory auditors. - Providing financial insights and compliance updates to senior management. Qualifications Required: - 10-15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. - Proven expertise in independently managing statutory filings and tax returns. - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and corporate taxation. - Previous leadership experience in managing accounting teams. - Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
