Job Description

Job Summary:

Head Mining

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end mining operations across multiple sites in India.
Plan, execute, and monitor OB removal and MDO projects ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations at all mining sites.
Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for seamless coordination.
Drive operational excellence and implement best practices in mining operations.
Lead and mentor a team of mining professionals and support staff.
Develop strategic plans for mining expansion and resource optimization.

Requirements:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
15 to 20 years of proven experience in mining operations, specifically in OB removal and MDO projects.
Strong understanding of mining regulations, safety, and environmental norms.
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to mine locations across India as required.

Corporate Office Chennai (with frequent travel to mine sites)
