Description
As a Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for leading the data accountability, data security, data regulatory compliance, and data access governance workstreams. Your role will involve developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to support data roles, secure data assets, maintain data integrity, and promote a culture of data accountability within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance data accountability and operationalize the Data Roles & Responsibilities Framework at Siemens Energy. - Lead Enablement and Training Programs for data roles and support the establishment of Data communities in various business areas. - Lead the planning and execution of data security and data access management strategies to protect data assets, mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and build collaborator trust. - Drive the development of a retention framework and secure disposal methods to manage data effectively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Data domains, Cybersecurity, Legal and Compliance, Artificial Intelligence, and Applications teams. - Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals. - Develop and implement strategic goals for the team aligned with organizational objectives. - Collaborate with collaborators across the organization to align strategies with business objectives. Qualifications Required: - University degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field. - Extensive experience in data management, data governance, data ownership, and data security governance roles in large-scale enterprise environments. - Proven track record in developing and implementing effective data governance frameworks. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Solid understanding of data accountability, data ownership, data security, and compliance principles and practices.
