Role Overview

Head Metal Casting Operations

This is a senior-level leadership role, responsible for overseeing the entire casting operation – from tooling to final quality inspection – ensuring production excellence, process optimization, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end casting operations across sand, pressure, aluminum, gravity, and die casting processes.
Ensure adherence to quality control standards across all stages of casting.
Collaborate with design, tooling, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Monitor and optimize process parameters to reduce rework and rejection rates.
Lead and train cross-functional teams including shopfloor operators and supervisors.
Troubleshoot operational issues in real-time and ensure minimal downtime.
Coordinate with the quality assurance department for continuous process improvements.
Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of casting components.
Drive cost efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production Engineering or relevant field.
10–15 years of proven experience in casting operations, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
In-depth knowledge of all major casting processes and their quality control requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Hands-on with troubleshooting casting defects and implementing corrective measures.
Familiarity with modern manufacturing tools and ERP systems preferred.
