Head - Information Technology (Manufacturing)

As the Head of IT - Manufacturing, your primary responsibility is to lead the IT strategy, execution, and operations within the manufacturing domain. You will manage technology projects, develop in-house skillsets, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership in technology strategy, execution, and operations. Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives. - Manage a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints. Ensure successful delivery of IT projects. - Drive process efficiency in manufacturing operations by recommending and implementing viable technologies. - Identify key skills and talent gaps, recruit, train, and retain IT talent. Provide career and development planning for the IT team. - Identify and manage external vendors for the delivery of contracted work. Negotiate services and contracts with third-party providers. - Oversee the selection, enhancement, and maintenance of manufacturing systems. Ensure system and data security and reliability. - Champion innovation in manufacturing processes through the adoption of new technologies. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: Extensive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects. - Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, and SCM, with proven experience in Building Smart Factories (Industry 4.0). You will also ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing IT systems.,
