Role Overview

The Head – FMCG Sales & Operations will oversee the end-to-end sales strategy, business growth, and operational efficiency of the FMCG division. The role focuses on driving revenue, strengthening market reach, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, distribution, and operational functions. The ideal candidate should bring proven leadership experience and a strong background in FMCG sales and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and operational plans to achieve business and profitability targets.
• Lead, motivate, and manage regional and zonal sales teams for consistent performance.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, product categories, and growth markets.
• Strengthen distributor and retail networks to enhance market penetration.
• Monitor sales metrics, budgets, and forecasts to ensure cost efficiency and revenue maximization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to align strategies and business goals.
• Ensure smooth operations across supply and distribution channels.
• Implement process improvements for enhanced operational excellence.
• Uphold compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and statutory norms.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG sales & operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience handling large teams and multi-regional operations preferred.
