Role Overview: You have a unique opportunity as Head, FCCL at Oxford University Press India to lead and shape the Combined Courses product line for schools in South India. You will work on innovative projects aligned with educational policies like NEP and NCF, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to strategic planning and business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and expansion of the Combined Courses list with a focus on South India. - Collaborate with sales and marketing to tailor products to regional educational needs. - Build a portfolio for state boards in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. - Drive product growth and revenue by liaising with content teams and internal stakeholders. - Conduct market research, need analysis, and curriculum design aligned with NEP and NCF. - Define product lifecycles, timelines, stylesheets, and art styles suitable for different age groups and budgets. - Guide editors through product development stages to ensure quality and age-appropriateness. - Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with the marketing team. - Contribute to strategic planning and business growth in alignment with educational and commercial goals. - Represent the department in cross-divisional initiatives and external engagements. Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree with 10-15 years of experience in Education, EdTech, or Publishing. - Strong project management skills, functional competencies, and effective communication abilities. - Proficient in problem-solving, risk management, meeting strict deadlines, and managing budgets. - Experience in curriculum design, educational product development, familiarity with NEP and NCF frameworks, and exposure to South Indian education markets are desirable.
