Head Fashion Designer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and creative Head Fashion Designer to lead the entire design team and oversee end-to-end design development across women’s western wear, menswear (primary focus), and kidswear. The ideal candidate must have strong fashion sensibility, team leadership skills, and hands-on experience in multi-category apparel design.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the complete design team and supervise design processes across all categories

Develop seasonal and capsule collections for women’s western wear, menswear (main focus), and kids.wear..Ensure trend-driven, brand-aligned, and commercially viable designs..Create and review design concepts, silhouettes, color palettes, and fabric selections. Oversee the preparation of mood boards, tech packs, print developments, and sampling.Collaborate closely with the production, merchandising, and marketing teams for seamless execution.

Approve final samples and ensure quality, fit, and finish of each design

Guide, mentor, and manage junior designers and interns

Track global fashion trends, market demand, and buyer behavior for innovation

Maintain timelines, seasonal calendars, and ensure on-time launches

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and fashion retail dynamics.
• Experience in theater costume design is a plus but not required.
• Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate design concepts and collaborate with team members.
• A passion for fashion trends and the ability to translate them into wearable designs.
