Location:

Role Objective

end-to-end design function

Key Responsibilities

Design Management & Coordination

  • Lead the

    in-house design team

    and align their outputs with project timelines.
  • Coordinate effectively with

    regional design teams

    to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely support.
  • Act as a key liaison with

    clients, consultants, and site teams

    to ensure design deliverables meet requirements and resolve queries.
  • Review and approve

    structural, MEP, interior, and architectural drawings

    for accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
  • Drive

    design coordination meetings

    to align all stakeholders and eliminate gaps between design and execution.

Project Support & Execution Alignment

  • Provide design inputs during estimation, tendering, procurement, and project planning.
  • Ensure all design deliverables are aligned with approved budgets, CAPEX, and project schedules.
  • Support site execution teams with timely design clarifications and quick resolution of RFIs.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with

    Procurement, Contracts, Billing, Estimation, and Planning teams

    to ensure smooth project lifecycle execution.
  • Foster strong collaboration between

    design, execution, and commercial functions

    to meet organizational targets.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a

    multi-disciplinary design team

    covering Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, Fire & Interiors.
  • Mentor in-house designers, regional team coordinators, and junior engineers.
  • Promote a culture of

    ownership, accountability, and collaboration

    across all design stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain 100% compliance in drawing registers, approvals, revision control, and design documentation.
  • Submit monthly design MIS reports with status updates, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Ensure design deliverables for client submissions and internal reviews are always on schedule.

Key Requirements

  • Education:

    BE/ B. Tech in Civil/ Structural Engineering (preferred). Postgraduate in Structural/ Project Management/ Architecture is an added advantage.
  • Experience:

    12-20 years in

    design management

    within construction/ infrastructure/ interiors, with minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong exposure to

    multi-disciplinary design delivery

    across Structural, MEP, systems.
  • Excellent skills in

    coordination, stakeholder management, and cross-departmental collaboration

    .
  • Proficiency in

    BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, and coordination software

    .
