1. Menu Planning & Recipe DevelopmentDesign innovative and seasonal menus. Ensure meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and visually appealing. Standardize recipes for consistency and portion control. 🔹 2. Food Preparation & CookingSupervise and participate in daily food prep and cooking. Ensure high-quality taste, texture, and presentation. Handle special dietary requirements (e.g., vegan, gluten-free). 🔹 3. Team ManagementLead, train, and motivate kitchen staff (commis chefs, cooks, helpers). Allocate duties and ensure timely execution. Maintain discipline and teamwork in the kitchen. 🔹 4. Inventory & Cost ControlMaintain stock of ingredients and kitchen supplies. Control food waste and optimize cost per dish. Liaise with vendors for quality ingredients and pricing. 🔹 5. Hygiene & Safety ComplianceEnforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (FSSAI norms). Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and functioning. Monitor proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
