Job Description

As the Licensing and Acquisitions Manager at EPD India, your primary role is to drive top-line growth, market share, and division margin through Licensing and Acquisitions (L&A). You will contribute to EPD India's growth goals by introducing new products annually and managing the entire L&A lifecycle for the region. Your responsibilities will include scouting L&A deals in major therapy areas, managing existing alliances, and partnerships with an estimated annual sales of $70 million. Your role will require a high degree of external orientation, analytical ability, results orientation, and influencing skills to achieve EPD India's growth objectives. You must be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and collaborate with various stakeholders both in India and globally. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and screen L&A opportunities aligned with EPD India's strategy - Build a strong pipeline of deals by establishing contacts with potential partners - Develop business cases with sales forecasts and financials for approval - Negotiate contracts, lead due diligence, and ensure successful post-deal integration - Manage existing alliances and partnerships, including financial reporting and governance - Proactively address concerns to reduce the likelihood of terminated deals Qualifications Required: - Graduate in Science/Pharmacy with an MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing - 8+ years of experience in licensing and business development or 4+ years in top-tier Management Consulting - Excellent communication skills, collaboration, strategic thinking, and negotiation abilities - Experience in managing partnerships is an added advantage At EPD India, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, including VP EPD India, GMs, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, EPO, and global L&A teams to achieve business objectives. You will lead a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Managers to drive success in your role.,
