Role Overview

The Student Visa Counsellor is responsible for guiding students through the process of applying for higher education abroad. This includes counselling students on courses, universities, career paths, and assisting them with visa applications and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, admission processes, and visa requirements.
  • Provide accurate information about universities, courses, scholarships, and career prospects.
  • Assist students in preparing applications, SOPs, and financial documentation for visa filing.
  • Stay updated on changing immigration rules, visa regulations, and university policies.
  • Coordinate with students, parents, universities, and internal departments.
  • Conduct seminars, webinars, and one-on-one counselling sessions.
  • Maintain student records and track application progress in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Achieve student recruitment and visa conversion targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education, Business, International Relations, or related field preferred).
  • Prior experience in overseas education counselling or visa advisory (preferred).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of visa processes for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and meet targets.

Role Overview

The Visa Processing Head oversees and manages the end-to-end student visa application process. This role requires leadership in supervising a processing team, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, minimizing errors, and maintaining a high visa success rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the visa processing team across multiple destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.).
  • Monitor application files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Review financial documents, admission letters, and visa forms before final filing.
  • Train and mentor visa counsellors and processing staff on updated visa policies.
  • Liaise with embassies, consulates, universities, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for efficient and error-free visa processing.
  • Track and analyze visa success rates, identify gaps, and improve performance.
  • Handle escalations and provide solutions for complex visa cases.
  • Ensure the team meets service quality standards and turnaround time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Law, Business, Education, or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in student visa processing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of international visa regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and large cases
