Job Description

ELV - ICT, Security Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design ICT and Physical Security systems in accordance with project requirements, international standards, and local regulations.
Systems include CCTV & Video Management Systems, Access Control & Lift Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, Visitor & Parking Management (ANPR), Turnstiles, Bollards & Gate Barriers, Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber), Active Networking, Data & Voice Networks, IPTV, GRMS, Intercom and associated ICT systems.
Prepare detailed design deliverables including drawings, layouts, schematics, system architecture diagrams, specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
Coordinate with CAD / BIM (Revit) teams to ensure accuracy and timely submission of drawings.
Review and incorporate comments from clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Carry out design reviews at concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and other disciplines for integrated and clash-free designs.
Review contractor / specialist design submissions for compliance with design intent.
Respond to site RFIs, attend coordination meetings, and provide technical clarifications during construction.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities from a design consultancy perspective.
Maintain design documentation and report progress to the Project Manager / Head of Department.
