You will be required to respect and respond to the direction given by the Project department. As an Electrician, you will need to perform all related duties, including accessing, monitoring, and controlling the Building Automation System when necessary. Your responsibilities will also include conducting preventative maintenance inspections as per the schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all electrical/electronic distribution systems, equipment, and appliances, such as high voltage transformers, switch gear, motors, controls, etc. You should be able to recognize electrical/electronic problems and make necessary repairs. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, clock systems, intercom systems, and all building life safety equipment. Installing new circuits, lighting, receptacles, etc., may also be part of your job, which could involve pulling cables and wiring. You will also need to perform electrical repairs on appliances and equipment in various areas such as operation theatres, kitchens, hostels, offices, and classrooms. It will be your responsibility to prepare estimates for work orders, request materials required for the job, and keep necessary records for electrical inspection and documentation for the NABH program. Collaborating with other departments, you will assist in writing specifications for repairs and new construction. Documentation of your activities is crucial to ensure that appropriate information is available for each call. You will also coordinate emergency services with other medical and supportive activities as needed. As a Broadcast Audio Engineer at NEP Middle East, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of professional audio systems for live broadcasts and events. You will work closely with production teams to deliver exceptional sound quality, manage complex signal routing, and ensure all audio elements are captured, mixed, and delivered to the highest broadcast standards. Set up and operate broadcast audio consoles, communication systems (intercom/IFB), and related signal processing gear for live productions. Manage the full audio workflow from microphones and field inputs to the final mix and transmission. Coordinate with production teams to understand and deliver on audio requirements for each event. Ensure optimal audio levels, clarity, and mix balance across multiple sources including dialogue, music, effects, and crowd mics. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with audio signals, RF interference, and networked audio systems in real-time. Configure and maintain Dante, MADI, AES, and analog audio networks and devices. Monitor and maintain intercom systems across production and technical teams. Perform pre-show checks and live mixing during broadcasts, with awareness of timing, cues, and content needs. Conduct post-event equipment checks, maintenance, and inventory updates. Collaborate with vision, EVS, and engineering teams for seamless technical integration. Contribute to health and safety protocols and uphold NEP's technical standards. Participate in training junior engineers or freelancers on audio workflows and systems when required. Qualifications & Requirements: - Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in live broadcast or studio environments. - Proficient in operating digital audio consoles (e.g., Calrec, Studer, Yamaha, Lawo). - Strong understanding of RF coordination, wireless systems, and microphone techniques. - Experience working with intercom systems (e.g., Clear-Com, Riedel) and IP-based audio protocols (Dante, AES67). - Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced production environments. - Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. - Flexible with working hours and travel for productions across the region. - UAE driving license preferred. How you will do it: Review the project inputs and project intake form shared by the Front desk/Sales. Analyze the requirement and initiate the Kick-off call with Front Desk after getting CoE SFDC Code and time frame. Prepare designs on given floor plans to arrive with the BOQ; in case BOQ is unavailable. Identify potential issues/risks and proactively bring them to the customer's knowledge and help to mitigate the identified risks. Initiate the discussion with OEMs & subcontractors and get the right solution and proposal from OEMs. Analyze the proposal and commercials received from the OEM and verify the same based on the past data and benchmark costing available in the SCM Database. Upon completion of cost comparison, prepare the optimized techno-commercial Costing sheet, Proposal, and Compliance Statements. Once the deliverables are ready, perform Self QC and get the 2nd level QC done by the Delivery Manager. Eventually, submit the deliverables to the Front Desk. Update the SFDC regularly, and complete timesheet & assigned training on time. Actively negotiate and follow up with OEMs and Internal OPS/ Post Sales team to get the right kind of prices for the project. Regularly participate in the Daily Call /Cadence Call with the business team. Actively derive the strategy for increasing the win rate. Align with Organization KPIs such as Quality, OTD, Win rate, Productivity, etc.
