Head - Academic Operation (Design Education)

Create and review courses, and ensure they meet the institution's standards Supporting HR for Technical Recruit, retain, and mentor faculty, and ensure they are diverse and distinguished Develop and manage the department's budget, and identify opportunities for external funding Ensure the department's physical facilities are well-maintained Contribute to the development of the institution's strategic plan, and ensure the department's activities support that plan Evaluate the success of programs and student learning Industry connects Teaching Share information about policies, decisions, and activities with the department Advocate for the institution through extracurricular activities Required Qualifications A minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field. A doctoral degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, with a significant portion in academic leadership or management roles. Demonstrated expertise and contributions in the field of the academic department. Strong understanding of accreditation standards and processes. Experience in budget management and resource allocation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in higher education.
