HCLTech is Looking For Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect in AI

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in AI & GenAI along with on-premises data center technologies, the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack . The ideal candidate will design and deliver advanced infrastructure solutions tailored for AI and GenAI workloads for our enterprise clients. This role demands hands-on technical leadership combined with strategic design capabilities to drive transformational initiatives in infrastructure to solve AI and GEN AI requirements for the customers. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement on-premises infrastructure solutions supporting Private AI and GenAI initiatives . Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and define the architecture of AI/GenAI platforms . Develop end-to-end solutions leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite . Integrate Private AI solutions into existing enterprise environments, ensuring security, scalability, and performance optimization. Provide detailed infrastructure designs including compute, storage, networking, and security components tailored for AI/GenAI workloads. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of AI infrastructure projects. Develop best practices, reference architectures, and deployment guides for AI and GenAI solutions. Stay current with technology trends in Private AI, VMware, on-premises cloud, and data center innovations. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, preferably with a focus on on-premises solutions. Specialist-level knowledge of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, etc.). Deep understanding of Private AI solutions (e.g., Nvidia AI Enterprise, OpenShift AI, or similar technologies). Proven experience designing infrastructure for AI and GenAI workloads , including considerations for GPU/accelerated compute. Solid grasp of data center design principles , including networking, storage, security, and high availability. Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure needs such as containerization (Kubernetes), hybrid cloud integrations, and software-defined infrastructure . Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Exceptional documentation, communication, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: VMware certifications (e.g., VCAP and any other certification from VMware). Pre-sales experience in the infrastructure space, will be added advantage. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Nvidia Triton, etc.). Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for Private AI environments. Hands-on experience with hardware acceleration (e.g., GPUs, DPU technologies). Experience working with multi-tenant environments and service provider models
