As a Server & Storage Solutions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales force by identifying the most suitable Server & Storage solutions for our customers. This position requires you to engage with customers through email, phone, and face-to-face interactions to assess their needs effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass providing pre-sales technical assessments, designing server & storage solutions, and creating proposals and bill of materials tailored to meet specific requirements. Your primary tasks will include developing customized Server and Storage solutions for both existing customers and prospects, assisting sales representatives in preparing proposals, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of HP and Dell enterprise products. You will be expected to address detailed queries from sales personnel and potential clients, attend training sessions to stay updated with manufacturer certifications, and deliver enablement training to sales representatives as necessary. In addition, you will be actively involved in account mining and cross-selling activities, leveraging your expertise to identify new opportunities. Your role will also involve translating customer contexts into compelling propositions that effectively address their pain points. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating collaterals and case studies showcasing the organization's offerings and their ability to cater to specific business needs. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 6-10 years of pre-sales or solutioning experience in the IT industry. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and networking, along with experience in solutions/service design, is essential. You should be adept at analyzing customer requirements, designing cost-effective solutions, and collaborating with sales, delivery, and partner managers to provide comprehensive solutions. Your ability to engage with both business and IT functions within customer organizations, propose transformational solutions, and offer sound business and technical advice will be critical. Additionally, you should have experience in mapping competition, developing winning sales strategies, and assisting sales groups with various requests such as quotes, bids, and proposals. Strong communication skills, a financial acumen, and knowledge of infrastructure solutioning and assessment exercises are highly desirable for this role. Experience in pre-sales or consulting server & storage solutions, technical expertise in virtualization, disaster recovery, and active directory will be advantageous. Your role will involve working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver holistic solutions beyond just the technical aspects. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in AI & GenAI along with on-premises data center technologies, the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack . The ideal candidate will design and deliver advanced infrastructure solutions tailored for AI and GenAI workloads for our enterprise clients. This role demands hands-on technical leadership combined with strategic design capabilities to drive transformational initiatives in infrastructure to solve AI and GEN AI requirements for the customers. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement on-premises infrastructure solutions supporting Private AI and GenAI initiatives . Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and define the architecture of AI/GenAI platforms . Develop end-to-end solutions leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite . Integrate Private AI solutions into existing enterprise environments, ensuring security, scalability, and performance optimization. Provide detailed infrastructure designs including compute, storage, networking, and security components tailored for AI/GenAI workloads. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of AI infrastructure projects. Develop best practices, reference architectures, and deployment guides for AI and GenAI solutions. Stay current with technology trends in Private AI, VMware, on-premises cloud, and data center innovations. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, preferably with a focus on on-premises solutions. Specialist-level knowledge of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, etc.). Deep understanding of Private AI solutions (e.g., Nvidia AI Enterprise, OpenShift AI, or similar technologies). Proven experience designing infrastructure for AI and GenAI workloads , including considerations for GPU/accelerated compute. Solid grasp of data center design principles , including networking, storage, security, and high availability. Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure needs such as containerization (Kubernetes), hybrid cloud integrations, and software-defined infrastructure . Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Exceptional documentation, communication, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: VMware certifications (e.g., VCAP and any other certification from VMware). Pre-sales experience in the infrastructure space, will be added advantage. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Nvidia Triton, etc.). Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for Private AI environments. Hands-on experience with hardware acceleration (e.g., GPUs, DPU technologies). Experience working with multi-tenant environments and service provider models
