FinOps Engineer

Description

FinOps

Responsibilities:

• Manage cloud cost governance, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analyze usage patterns and implement cost-optimization strategies.
• Work with engineering teams to guide cost-efficient design choices.
• Build dashboards and reports for visibility into cloud spend.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and FinOps best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Cloud Expertise:

   Advanced proficiency in at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with deep knowledge of their respective pricing primitives and billing APIs.

• Data & Scripting:

   Strong skills in 

  SQL

  , 

  Python

  , and 

  Excel

   for deep-dive billing data analysis and automation.

• FinOps Knowledge:

   Mastery of the FinOps Foundation Framework phases:

  Optimize

  , and 

  Operate
