Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Build and automate
data pipelines
to collect and process cloud cost and usage data.
Support
cost optimization
by analyzing usage patterns, reservations, and savings opportunities.
Implement
budget alerts, tagging standards, and cost governance policies
.
Develop or integrate
FinOps dashboards
to visualize spend, savings, and anomalies.
Work with cloud, DevOps, and finance teams to
embed FinOps best practices
.
Automate reports and insights using
Python, SQL, or scripting
tools.
Contribute to
chargeback/showback
and forecasting models.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud:
AWS, Azure, or GCP
.
Strong understanding of
cloud billing, pricing models, and resource optimization
.
Experience with
FinOps tools or APIs
(Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing Export).
Proficiency in
Python, SQL, or automation scripting
.
Familiarity with
dashboards
(Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker).
Knowledge of
tagging, budgets, and policy automation
.
