Job Description

Position - Hardware Test Engineer - Automotive Location - Pune Experience - 2 - 7 yrs Domain - Automotive Roles & Responsibility Experience in developing test specifications and test sequences based on hardware design, hardware safety requirement and considering ISO2626, relevant norms/standards and internal processes and procedures. Experience in performing the test activities planned according to the DVP. • Knowledge to ensure traceability and consistency of test cases and test results to hardware design and requirements. Knowledge about the Automotive testing standards such as ISO7637-2, ISO16750-2, ISO10605, AIS004 and CISPR-25 etc. Experience to witness and or execute Electrical, EMI/EMC and Environmental testing in labs. Experience to create test plans, test cases and test reports and document defects / errors. • Analog and digital electronics knowledge Reading and understanding of design documents, ex. electrical schematic and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layout, components datasheets Understanding of embedded systems Practical experience using test tools: instrumentation for measurement and control (ex. oscilloscope, function generator, electronic loads, programable power supplies, etc.) Advanced Problem-solving analysis, diagnosing and troubleshooting (ex. able to correctly identify the fault type) Experience in usage of industry specific SW tools for testing (ex. CANoe/CANape, uController debugging & flashing tools like Lauterbach). Knowledge of communication protocols (ex. SPI, CAN(FD), LIN, I2C, UART, SENT, etc.) Advanced automotive systems know-how and related topics (ex.
