Hardware Engineer II

Role Overview: You will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing product requirements, resolving queries, signing off requirements, and completing design documents in collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, you will design, develop, and sustain electronic control boards for HVAC equipment, develop verification and validation practices, test electronic controls for quality and reliability, and coordinate reliability testing. You will also perform root cause analysis, collaborate with mechanical design engineers and suppliers, prepare necessary documents for manufacturing, and serve as a project engineer for new product designs. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and review product requirements, resolve queries, and complete design documents - Design and develop electronic control boards for HVAC equipment - Develop specifications and best practices for hardware system verification and validation - Test electronic controls for quality and reliability - Coordinate reliability testing and address any issues through design updates - Interact with mechanical design engineers and suppliers - Prepare necessary documents for manufacturing - Serve as the project engineer for new product designs and communicate project results to leadership Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering - 3 to 7 years of experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry design - Experience in converting marketing requirements into design requirements - Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software - Knowledge of circuit simulation and PADs PC board layout software - Capable of general soldering and operation of lab equipment - Proficient in English communication - Creative thinking and ability to develop new processes - Demonstrated capability to multi-task and work on multiple projects - Excellent collaboration and teaming skills - Experience in HVAC or appliance industries is a plus - Experience in refrigeration controls design is a plus - Experience with contract manufacturers, high-speed signal integrity checking, and environmental testing is a plus - Experience in motor control/inverter drive design is a plus,
