Must have understanding of TCU/Powertrain architectures of IC engine.
• Good understanding of powertrain interface components e.g. sensors, actuators. • Understanding of microcontroller-based design for automotive applications like Infineon, ST etc.
• Excellent understanding of High Side Driver, Low side Driver, Op amp, Discrete components e.g. Mosfet, BJT etc.
• Design experience of power supply components LDO, DC-DC converter, SBC, PMIC.
• Automotive ISO/JASO Electrical & EMC test standards knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
• In depth understanding Cadence Allegro Tool chain for schematic design and BOM release.
• Experience on Circuit Simulation using tools like : Pspice / LTspice.
• Worst-case Analysis, Thermal & Design calculations, Vehicle level HW testing/IO testing. . • Understanding of HW Safety analysis like: FMEDA, DFMEA, DFA and SRSC.
• Components selection and PCB layout basic Knowledge, cost optimization, alternate component assessment.
• Good written and spoken English.
