Job Description

You should have 2 to 10 years of experience, including 3 to 5 years of experience in Guidewire Configuration and Integration. It is essential to have exposure and awareness of Property and Casualty Insurance Business. Experience in working and delivering in Agile/Scrum practice is highly desirable. Holding Guidewire Certifications is highly preferred. As a Java/J2EE resource with Guidewire Experience, you should be familiar with Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center. You must be capable of designing and developing Guidewire Integration Components and configuring PC, BC, or CC. Experience in Guidewire Platform Upgrade and Cloud is advantageous. Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services, and XML is necessary. Proficiency in Oracle/SQL Server databases and SQL is required. You should have implementation proficiency and hands-on experience in GW Integration, including Integration with ESB, Legacy applications, and Third-party Vendor Applications. Familiarity with common integration mechanisms such as Service-Oriented Architecture, web services (SOAP), and Messaging (JMS, MQ) is important. Expertise in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, and workflows is expected. Unit testing (gunits) and Technical Design Documentation experience are necessary. Good experience in Incident management, Problem management, Request Handling for Guidewire PC/BC/CC configurations, customizations, and third-party integrations is vital. Exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queues is essential. You should have skills in estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring. The ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth, and increase their business profitability is crucial. Good knowledge of software configuration management systems is required. Awareness of the latest technologies and industry trends is desirable. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate, are necessary. Understanding of financial processes for various types of projects and different pricing models available is important. You should be able to assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions. Having knowledge of one or two industry domains is beneficial. Client interfacing skills and project and team management capabilities are essential for this role.,
