As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for developing and customizing solutions using GOSU programming language. You will design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications with a focus on high performance and scalability. Your role will involve configuring user interfaces, customizing key functional areas within PolicyCenter, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver user stories and sprint objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and customize solutions using GOSU programming language. - Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications with a focus on high performance and scalability. - Configure user interfaces, including the creation and modification of PCF (Page Configuration Format) files. - Customize and implement key functional areas within PolicyCenter such as Policy Transactions, Product Modeling, Rating Management, Forms Management, and more. - Configure system parameters including roles, permissions, and security settings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments. - Support and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, including new deployments and upgrade projects. - Contribute to the maintenance and support of existing PolicyCenter applications. - Understand and work with Personal and/or Commercial Lines insurance products. Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably with object-oriented programming. - Strong expertise in Guidewire Configuration; experience in Guidewire Integration is a plus. - Prior experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter upgrades, maintenance, and support projects. - Knowledge of the insurance domain, particularly Personal or Commercial Lines.
