Description We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in business analysis within the insurance sector, particularly with Guidewire software. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure successful implementation of Guidewire solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement within Guidewire applications. Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions. Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementations. Conduct testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. Provide training and support to end users on Guidewire applications. Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements and processes. Skills and Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, specifically in the insurance domain. Strong understanding of Guidewire software and its modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation techniques. Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum framework. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of data modeling and database concepts related to Guidewire applications.

Job Summary: A Guidewire Billing Center Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Guidewire Billing Center applications. This role involves working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful implementation and integration of Guidewire solutions. Key Responsibilities: Configuration and Integration: Develop and configure Guidewire Billing Center applications to meet business requirements. Customize and extend the BillingCenter data model and business rules using Gosu and PCF. Development: Write code using GOSU, Java, and other relevant programming languages. Testing: Perform unit testing and support QA testing to ensure the quality of the developed solutions. Support performance tuning, code reviews, and quality assurance processes. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Guidewire Billing Center applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the billing lifecycle. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions. Document generation and integration Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and customization of Guidewire BillingCenter. Take ownership of functional modules, including: Invoicing and delinquency management Payments, Payment Requests, and Disbursements Billing Instructions and Commission processing Trouble Tickets (setup, workflows, resolution tracking) Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Required Skills: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Guidewire Billing Center, GOSU, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST). Develop and maintain custom plugins and support integrations with policy, claims, finance, and external systems via web services (SOAP/REST). Experience: Hands-on experience with Guidewire applications, preferably Billing Center. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments using tools like Jira and Rally. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, guiding solution design and ensuring alignment with business needs Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Guidewire certification in Billing Center or other Guidewire modules. BC ACE is a plus Domain Knowledge: Understanding of property and casualty insurance.

Role & responsibilities Understand the business requirements and user stories. Review Out of the Box (OOTB) features and identify fitment gaps (if any) between OOTB and user stories. Design and build Guidewire configurations for product model, entity, workflows, rules, activities, assignments and admin data related aspects Configure PCF UI screens for the functional requirements Design and build reusable components for an accelerated delivery Identify the customizations to be done to meet the business requirements Perform unit testing and code reviews to meet the conformance standards Do early validation with business users Provide resolution to technical issues Lead, Coach, Mentor and Support the Pod teams. Preferred candidate profile Strong experience in application development using Guidewire PolicyCenter. Strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance. Strong experience in Product Model Configuration coverages and coverage terms, availability condition etc. Strong experience in Guidewire integration mechanisms including predefined & custom plug-in, messaging destination, custom batch process, predefined and custom web services, Guidewire Specialist Certification preferred. Experience in developing unit test cases using GUnit for GOSU and Junit for Java. Agile development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe Agile), practices and principles across product development lifecycle (PDLC). Experience in Integrating PolicyCenter with external reporting systems such as (but not limited to) motor vehicle reports, property reports, accident auto clue reports etc.
