Role & Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic IT & Digital Leadership
- Define and execute a Group-wide IT and AI-first strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.
- Champion adoption of AI/ML solutions in areas like predictive maintenance, customer
experience, analytics, and automation.
- Continuously evaluate and deploy latest technologies, apps, SaaS platforms, and digital tools
to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Drive a culture of innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain,
AR/VR, drones, and robotics relevant to each vertical.
2. IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Hardware
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data center
modernization.
- Standardize procurement and management of cutting-edge hardware servers, workstations,
mobility devices, smart classroom equipment, surveillance systems, and wearables.
- Implement IoT and sensor-based systems for construction sites, warehouses, logistics hubs,
and hospitality facilities.
3. AI, Data & Business Intelligence
- Establish a data-driven organization by deploying AI-powered BI dashboards and predictive
analytics tools.
- Lead automation of workflows using AI chatbots, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and
smart assistants.
- Build enterprise-level data lakes and AI models for forecasting, performance optimization, and
customer insights.
4. Industry-Specific Technology Enablemen
- Construction & Real Estate: BIM, drone-based surveying, AI-enabled project management,
digital twins.
- Hospitality: AI-driven guest personalization, property management systems, mobile
check-in/out apps, smart IoT rooms.
- Education: AI-based learning platforms, LMS, smart boards, VR classrooms, e-library systems.
- Warehousing & Logistics: AI-enabled route optimization, WMS/TMS integration, robotics for
material handling, RFID/IoT inventory tracking.
5. Software & App Ecosystem
- Select and deploy best-in-class enterprise software for ERP, CRM, HRMS, and finance.
- Encourage development of custom mobile apps for internal monitoring, client engagement, and
reporting.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and integration across verticals.
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement AI-driven security monitoring tools to detect threats and anomalies in real time.
- Establish group-wide data privacy, compliance, and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Conduct regular penetration testing, audits, and staff cybersecurity training.
7. Corporate IT Governance & Change Managemen
- Formulate policies for responsible AI and technology usage across all business verticals.
- Lead training initiatives to build digital literacy and AI awareness at all employee levels.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor partnerships, and enterprise-wide licensing agreements.
Preferred candidate profile
The Group IT Head will be the technology leader responsible for driving innovation, digital
transformation, and IT operations across all business verticals of the Group construction, real
estate, hospitality, education, warehousing, and logistics. The role demands a forward-looking
leader with deep knowledge of AI, automation, modern enterprise software, mobile applications,
advanced hardware, and smart gadgets to ensure the Group stays competitive, efficient, and
future-ready.
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
12 to 18+ years of IT leadership experience across multi-sector businesses.
