What You’ll Do: Design scroll-stopping YouTube thumbnails that boost CTR (Click Through Rate) Create on-screen graphics, lower-thirds, titles, graphs, textures , and visual elements for long-form videos Design Instagram carousel posts, story creatives, posters , and other branding visuals as needed Work closely with video editors and scriptwriters to visualize scenes Maintain visual consistency with the brand's theme, fonts, and palette Stay up to date with YouTube trends, thumbnail formats, fonts, and colors that perform well Key Skills & Tools Required: 2–4 years of design experience (YouTube/Content design preferred) Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma , and Canva (for quick mocks) Strong understanding of color psychology, thumbnail text hierarchy, and contrast Knowledge of YouTube click-through behavior and what makes thumbnails go viral Bonus: Experience in After Effects or Premiere Pro for basic motion graphics Fast turnaround time and ability to deliver multiple versions under deadlines What We're Looking For: A designer who treats every thumbnail like a movie poster Someone who can turn raw ideas into clean, clickable visual stories Aware of design trends, cultural references, and pop-culture impact Not afraid to experiment, split-test, and iterate for better performance Strong team collaborator and visual problem solver Portfolio Must Include: 3–5 YouTube thumbnails (even personal practice is fine) 2–3 video graphics or Instagram-style posts/carousels Optional: Any posters, branding, or storytelling-driven design Your design will decide whether someone clicks or scrolls past.
