Job Description

We are hiring for a UK based company and seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Designers with a strong passion for visual storytelling and proven expertise in video editing. This dual-role position is crucial for enhancing our brand's visual presence across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling graphic design projects, as well as producing high-quality video content from concept to final delivery. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, strong technical skills in design and video software, and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Design and development of various marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to:
  • Website graphics, banners, and digital advertisements
  • Social media visuals (posts, stories, ads)
  • Presentations, infographics, and reports
  • Brochures, flyers, and other print collateral
  • Branding elements (logos, brand guidelines, visual identity systems)
  • Ensure all graphic outputs align with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and target audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective visual solutions.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Video Editing & Production:

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, shoot and edit video content for various purposes, including:
  • Promotional videos (product/service showcases, testimonials)
  • Social media video ads and short-form content
  • Explainer videos and tutorials
  • Internal communications and training videos
  • Event highlight reels
  • Proficiently use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) for editing, motion graphics, visual effects, color correction, and audio mixing.
  • Manage video assets, including organizing footage, graphics, and audio files.
  • Ensure video outputs are optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram) and meet technical specifications.

Creative Strategy & Innovation:

  • Contribute to the overall creative strategy, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to visual content.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, video production techniques, and software advancements.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers or external agencies when applicable.

Quality Assurance:

  • Review all design and video assets for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards before final delivery.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively and iteratively refine designs and videos.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Adobe Creative Suite, video production, etc., are a plus.

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, video editing and production with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
  • Proven experience in creating content for both digital and print platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
  • Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects.
  • Knowledge of other tools like Figma, Sketch, DaVinci Resolve, Audition is a plus.
  • Creative & Artistic Aptitude: Strong understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color theory) and visual aesthetics.
  • Storytelling: Ability to translate concepts and messages into compelling visual and video narratives.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in design execution and video production.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and receive feedback constructively.
  • Time Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Openness to new ideas, technologies, and evolving brand needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving design or video production challenges.
