The candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and visually appealing videos that highlight our brand, books, and educational content across various digital platforms.

Role Overview

As a Video Editor at DD Books, you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for publishing. You will collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to create videos that resonate with our audience and strengthen our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for social media, YouTube, website, and marketing campaigns.
• Add effects, graphics, music, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative team to develop video concepts.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.
• Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Maintain brand consistency across all video projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience (1–3 years) as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
• Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a sense of timing.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with educational/branding content is a plus.
