The candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and visually appealing videos that highlight our brand, books, and educational content across various digital platforms. Role Overview As a Video Editor at DD Books , you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for publishing. You will collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to create videos that resonate with our audience and strengthen our digital presence. Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for social media, YouTube, website, and marketing campaigns. Add effects, graphics, music, and transitions to enhance storytelling. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos. Work closely with the marketing and creative team to develop video concepts. Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines. Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques. Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Maintain brand consistency across all video projects. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience (1–3 years) as a Video Editor or similar role. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions. Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction. Creativity, attention to detail, and a sense of timing. Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
