Job Description

Government Liaison Officer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with state, and local government departments, ministries, and regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitate approvals, permits, and clearances for solar projects (land, environment, grid connectivity, PPAs, etc.).
  • Track and analyze government policies, schemes, and incentives related to renewable energy.
  • Represent the organization in industry associations and renewable energy forums.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with government norms.


Desired Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–15 years of experience in government liaisoning, corporate affairs, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy policies and solar industry regulations.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with senior officials and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
