Description
We are seeking an experienced Golang Tester with strong automation testing expertise to join our dynamic team supporting a prestigious IT MNC client. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and proficiency in testing backend systems and APIs developed in Golang. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute automated test scripts for applications and services written in Golang . Design, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). Perform API testing , load testing , and integration testing across various environments. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand application requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues, and assist in their resolution. Contribute to test planning, estimation, and strategy for backend systems. Utilize modern testing tools and frameworks compatible with Golang environments. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in Golang application testing. Strong experience in automation testing frameworks (e.g., Testify, Ginkgo/Gomega, GoMock). Proficiency with tools such as Postman , Swagger , JMeter , or K6 for API and load testing. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Good understanding of RESTful services , microservices architecture , and cloud platforms (preferably AWS or GCP). Solid experience with test case design , execution, and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr). Familiarity with source control tools like Git .
