Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Godown Officer located in Vadodara. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the godown, including inventory management, stock verification, and maintaining proper storage conditions. The Godown Officer will ensure efficient handling, storing, and dispatching of goods, while maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movements. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating with suppliers and transporters, maintaining compliance with safety and security standards, and supervising the workforce to ensure smooth logistics and warehouse functions.

Qualifications

Inventory management, stock handling, and warehouse operations skills
Record-keeping, data entry, and attention to detail skills
Team management and leadership abilities
Knowledge of safety, compliance, and operational procedures for godown/warehouse management
Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer tools
Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Prior experience in a warehouse or supply chain management role is preferred
A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an advantage
