About Position:

Gloss Developer

Role: Gloss Developer
Location: All PSL Locations
Experience: 3 to 8 Years
Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do:

Analyze existing Gloss 4.9 implementation and document key configurations, interfaces, and customizations.
Design and implement migration strategies to Gloss 6.0, including:
Data migration
Custom code migration
Interface adaptation (Swift, FIX, MQ, etc.)
Modify and optimize existing Unix Shell Scripts, and database procedures.
Coordinate and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify and resolve issues arising from changes in data model, messaging structure, or workflows between versions.
Collaborate with Broadridge technical team for version-specific technical support and best practices.
Maintain detailed documentation of changes, test plans, and rollback strategies.
Ensure minimal disruption to end-users during cutover and go-live

Expertise You'll Bring:

38 years of experience in financial technology, with hands-on experience on Broadridge Gloss (4.x/5.x/6.x).
Strong expertise in:
PowerBuilder/Sybase or Unix environments
Gloss APIs, events, trade lifecycle
Oracle/DB2 SQL
MQ or other middleware for interfacing
Proven experience in Gloss upgrades, patching, or major configuration migrations.
Knowledge of securities settlement workflows, SWIFT messaging, and trade matching.
Experience with batch job management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
