Job Description: Gloss Developer (Backend) 8+ Years Experience Position: Senior Gloss Developer Experience: 8+ Years Location: Bengaluru Role Type: Full-time / Permanent Domain: Banking / Financial Services Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Gloss Developer with strong expertise in Gloss 6.x , backend development, database management, and financial transaction systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java , RDBMS , Gloss background processes , BRX ontology , and MQ-based integrations . This role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting core banking functionalities and ensuring stability of background and batch operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain modules in Gloss 6.x . Work extensively on Gloss DB functionality including data models, tables, and system configurations. Manage and optimize Gloss background processes , batch jobs, and scheduled tasks. Implement and maintain business rules using BRX ontology . Develop backend services and integrations using Java / J2EE . Work with RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2) for query design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data management. Integrate Gloss with other banking systems using MQ messaging (IBM MQ / messaging queues). Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and test environments. Collaborate with functional, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases. Participate in system upgrades, versioning, and migration activities. Required Skills & Expertise Technical Skills Strong experience with Gloss 6.x platform. Expertise in Gloss database structure and functionality . Hands-on experience with Gloss background processes and batch frameworks. Good understanding of BRX ontology and business rule configurations. Strong programming experience in Java / Core Java / J2EE . Solid knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle / SQL Server / DB2). SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning. Experience with MQ technologies (IBM MQ / Message Queues) for system integration. Knowledge of financial or core banking processes (preferred).
