Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for implementing Accenture's global life safety and emergency preparedness strategy, including developing and continuously improving policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. You will also manage compliance with local, national, and international life safety and fire safety codes, regulations, and Accenture's global standards across all locations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage effective global life safety and emergency preparedness programs and initiatives, establishing trust and building strong engagement with local points around the world. - Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and leaders through clear communication channels, reliable tools and systems, and consistent reporting to advance the organization's global life safety goals. - Develop an effective risk assessment framework for company facilities, identifying potential hazards and vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks. - Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors to cultivate a culture of life safety awareness and responsibility. - Establish and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and procedures for various hazards and incidents to ensure all employees are well-prepared for emergencies. - Evaluate and provide advice on fire protection systems issues or incidents to local teams at company sites. - Collect, analyze, and report on life safety performance metrics and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Develop and manage the budget for life safety initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related Science, Engineering, or Occupational Health and Safety field; Master's degree preferred. - Professional certifications in workplace safety, fire safety, and health and safety. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in life safety, health and safety, or fire safety management with progressively responsible roles. - Strong knowledge of safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices. - Exceptional leadership and communication skills. - Project management and task prioritization skills. - Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building across virtual, cross-cultural, and all levels. - Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, drive own work area, and collaborate as a team player.,
