Position Overview

Global Travel Designer

Key responsibilities

• Itinerary Design:

  Create bespoke, high-touch itineraries that highlight culture, culinary, adventure, and exclusive experiences tailored to client preferences.

• Destination Research:

  Conduct in-depth research on new and emerging destinations, uncovering unique stays, hidden gems, and extraordinary experiences.

• Supplier Relations:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with global DMCs, hotels, and local partners. Negotiate competitive rates and ensure premium quality standards.

• Luxury Standards:

  Ensure each curated journey reflects Blingbirds signature valuespersonalization, exclusivity, and attention to detail.

• Trend Spotting:

  Stay updated on global travel trends, festivals, luxury hospitality developments, and experiences appealing to HNIs and UHNIs.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align itineraries with client demand and brand storytelling.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:

  Minimum 57 years in luxury travel planning, itinerary design, or DMC operations.

• Knowledge Base:

  Extensive expertise in European and Asian destinations, including cultural, culinary, and offbeat experiences.

• Luxury Travel Insight:

  Clear understanding of what defines true luxury travel and how to differentiate it from conventional tours.

• Negotiation Skills:

  Strong ability to secure the best rates and added value from global suppliers.

• Research & Creativity:

  Passion for discovering unique destinations, properties, and experiences.

• Client-Centric Mindset:

  Ability to understand the needs of discerning travelers and deliver itineraries that exceed expectations.

• Communication:

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting itineraries and liaising with global partners.
