Global Mobility Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an aspirational candidate with strong expertise in Global Mobility & Immigration (US/UK/Canada) processes. The individual will be part of the HR Operations team, also responsible for employee onboarding, background verification (BGV), documentation, and record-keeping activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

Visa & Immigration Management

• Manage end-to-end USA visa processes (H-1B, L-1, Green Card) ensuring compliance with immigration laws and company policies.
• Handle work permits for UK and Canada employees.
• Collaborate with immigration attorneys to resolve case issues and provide accurate guidance.
• Monitor visa statuses and notify stakeholders of critical deadlines.

HR Operations

• Lead onboarding to deliver a seamless Day One experience.
• Ensure complete documentation for new hires, including immigration compliance.
• Maintain onboarding records and track background verification processes.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives with external partners.
• Update HR systems with visa and employee documentation.

Compliance & Reporting

• Generate immigration compliance reports for HR and leadership.
• Audit immigration documentation to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.

Employee Support

• Act as a primary contact for visa-related queries and onboarding support.
• Guide employees through visa processes and liaise with attorneys to expedite cases.
• Maintain proactive communication with new joiners and stakeholders during BGV.
