Global Head of Fund Services Product Development

Role Overview: As the Head of Fund Services Product Development at the Custody, Digital and Fund Services Product organisation, you will play a crucial role in executing the business strategy and leading the Fund Services product roadmap. This position is pivotal during a transformative period for State Street's product organisation, requiring experienced leaders in product development to drive change and ensure successful delivery against a complex program of change. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Fund Services Product Executives to define the business strategy and necessary investments, engaging in the annual State Street strategy review with senior executives. - Identify product gaps and develop plans to address them, assessing the impact on client satisfaction, competitive positioning, and strategic objectives. - Take ownership of the product development roadmap, driving forward the strategic direction of the business. - Manage the demand prioritization process for investment spend on an annual and 3-year rolling basis. - Partner with Technology and Global Delivery teams to implement change, evaluating the impact on the operating model and technology architecture. - Enhance the client experience across products through iterative feature function improvement, collaborating with sales and relationship management teams to address complex client development requirements. - Manage the annual budget spend for the product, ensuring the ability to execute programs of work and secure necessary resources. - Establish effective stakeholder management processes and lead governance for the product development function, including Executive Steering Committees. - Oversee the data integration transition onto State Street's strategic data platform. - Foster a close partnership with the head of Custody, Data and Digital Product Development to develop staffing plans and staff deployment models for the future organization. Qualifications Required: - Deep subject matter expertise in Fund Services products such as Fund Accounting, Administration, Transfer Agency, ETF Servicing, Tax, and Fund reporting services. - Proven experience in delivering change in complex environments while managing competing priorities. - Track record as a change agent with a history of successful delivery. - Data expertise with experience in modern data management techniques. - Budgeting and finance skills. - Demonstrated success in delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Experience engaging with complex clients, designing operating models, and translating requirements into platform capabilities. - Strong stakeholder management skills to navigate the organization through solution delivery cycles. - Experience in solving data integration challenges across complex and large-scale product sets.
